because of a promise i made a few weeks ago in hoxton square i will tell you my version of india in english now..
its been amazing. everything. and all who have ever travelled know it is impossible to give a correct image of your experience through words but i will try..
delhi was amazing.. everyone says its a nasty city but i really enjoyed it. it gave me the culture slap in the face that i wanted... its very black and white. one minute i can feel that tears are coming to my eyes because a little boy is standing in front of my beggin for money, but i cannot let him see that the sight of him is bringing tears to my eyes so i suck it in.. ( and yes the iron women with the stone dead heart is warming up.. the spell has been broken!) few mintues later i am overwhelmed with joy when we get surrounded by little childeren who want to shake your hands and get photographes with these strage white women!
i had meetings with few factoris that went well.
we hadnt done any research about where to go in india after delhi but i read about this place called rishikesh that is supposed to be the yogo capital of the world so we decided to go there. we wanted to stay in an Ashram and i thought i would finally find the meaning of life and get the enlightment that i am so desperatly search for all the time..
the place was amazing but it was low season so they didnt have enough classes going on.. we did some yoga and in one of those classes a woman starts to tell me about this place called daramasala and how amazing it is.. so 2 days later we find yourselves here..... in heaven! the tibetian government is here in exhile and the place is full of monks and wonderfully spiritual people... i am so tempted to stay here for ever. no jokes. i really really could be here for a looong time.. i'm hoping that the green in god will just stop all airplanes for about 3 months and i can get stuck here for that period! today my meditation teacher took me up in the forest to see his Guru which was a good experience! got some good photos that i will show you later.
i read few days ago that you can not see your reflection in runnig water, only in still.... which kind of got to me because i cant stop moving but then i thought... if i just run as fast as the running water then maybe i could get a glimps once in a while right|?
i dont have any romance stories for you, surprice surprice... maybe that the reason why i feel so at easy with these monks because we share the same hobby.. or should a say non-hobby!
i did share 12 hourse with a guy in a taxi to get to daramasala though and i found him insanly interesting and guess what.. he is sitting 2 computers away from me right now ! .. i'm going to ask him to join me for a cup of chai now!!
love and happiness to all
